Warehouse/Operations Manager

Jim has worked for Harcos in St Paul, MN since 2003. Harcros has 28 locations around the country, with a corporate office in Kansas City, KS. Jim’s responsibilities include local planning, safety, security, DOT compliance, hazardous waste, facilities management, etc. He has several years experience as a Motorcycle Rider Education specialist, including as the Rider Training Coordinator for the State of Minnesota. He is also a retired US Air Force transportation specialist, primarily in ground vehicle operations, training, management and planning. During his career he was responsible for certifying hazardous cargo for military airlift shipments, as well as passenger and cargo manifesting. Jim is the current chairperson for Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s Region IV Review Committee, which reviews Emergency Operation Plans for the ten Metropolitan (Twin City) counties, Minneapolis and St Paul, and some smaller jurisdictions, to ensure compliance with SARA Title III requirements for responding to Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS).
