Emergency & Rapid Spill Response Services

Bay West responds to more than 150 environmental emergency spill incidents each year involving recovery and cleanup of hazardous materials, petroleum, and chemical/corrosive substances on land and water, including abandoned containers and drums.

We currently hold the State of Minnesota's Emergency Spill Response Contract and have since it's inception in 1989. Additionally, we are a USEPA START and ERRS contractor since 1998.

24-Hour Emergency Spill Response

Our ER team responds to hundreds of emergency spill responses each year. We recover and clean up hazardous materials, petroleum, and chemical/corrosive substances on land and water, as well as abandoned containers/drums.

Mercury Assessments

Our highly trained and skilled ER team responds to 1-2 mercury spills per month. Trying to handle this type of spill without proper training and equipment creates significantly greater risk of exposure.

Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) Services

We are a US Coast Guard classified OSRO for spill response in rivers and canals, meeting response preparation requirements for facilities or vessels regulated by the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) 90.

Our capable staff and resources are always ready for any cleanup project involving hazardous waste and munitions on sites throughout the country.
